Mother's Day at the restaurant - A family experience
Cheers to all the mamas! Whether you are celebrating in a small circle or in larger company, with us you will find the right place for the Mother's Day celebration. Our main room seats up to 14 people at our largest tables. Here you will experience Franconian sociability through and through. For small rounds, there are cozy corners in all our rooms where you can make yourself comfortable on Mother's Day.
Use Mother's Day as an occasion for a big family celebration! In our hearty hunting room they are among themselves. It can accommodate up to 40 people.
The right menu - simply delicious
One thing is in the foreground on Mother's Day: the culinary pampering program! As far as that goes, Backöfele is the place to be if you're dining out in Würzburg on Mother's Day. We serve Franconian cuisine - traditional and above all prepared with a lot of love. On our menu you will find classics like grandma's beef roulade and Franconian Schäufele, but also light dishes like the fish pike perch or the salad "Backöfele" with different toppings to choose from. And yes: Franconian cuisine also has vegetarian delicacies to offer, such as the lentil stew according to Grandma Ehehalt.

In Franconia and especially on Mother's Day, there is one thing that must not be missing: the appropriate wine accompaniment. Our Franconian wine list holds a first-class selection of wines from the region for you. We recommend the Backöfele Secco Saignée to toast Mother's Day and all mothers.
You should not miss the highlight of your Mother's Day menu: the Backöfele Kaiserschmarrn to share at the table. Our Kaiserschmarrn is caramelized in the Pfännle and is prepared with hazelnuts, almonds and raisins, served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream... that's what you like to share with your loved ones.

Planning the perfect Mother's Day in Würzburg - Here's how it can be done
The Backöfele is located in the heart of the old town of Würzburg and is therefore very easy to reach if you celebrate Mother's Day in Würzburg.
We recommend a trip to the Marienberg Fortress with a view over beautiful Würzburg. This is also an exciting destination for children, because there is a lot to discover up here. Descending from the fortress, it is easy to stroll across the Old Main Bridge and along the Main Promenade. By the way, from here you have the most beautiful view of the fortress and the Käppele.
From the Mainpromenade it is only a few minutes walk to the Backöfele, where you can make yourself comfortable...
